On 30th June 2006, Mitral became a wholly owned subsidiary of Arena Group in a move which will see significant investment in the research and development of both the existing and a new suite of products.
Set up as a traditional photocopier dealership in 1991, Arena has grown to become Toshiba’s largest independent supplier in Europe and boasts a client base of over 7,000.
The merging of the two businesses creates a Group that can truly offer a one-stop shop for print and document management.
Ian Smithson, co-founder of the business, becomes General Manager of the Mitral Division and is looking forward to talking to both Mitral’s and Arena’s clients about the benefits of the very latest M-Store software. “I’m excited. The whole group is excited” Ian enthused. “This really is a great move for us, but not only that, it’s a great move for our customers too”.
