Why choose bespoke software?
Mitral has a long and highly successful history of bespoke software development around line of business applications - anything from sales order processing through to stock control and job costing. With many of our customers they simply cannot find an application that is commercially available that isn't too expensive or that is a good fit to the business.
When deciding whether bespoke software is right for your organisation you need to consider the true cost of "off the shelf" packaged software in terms of the overall cost. This includes licence fees, upgrades, support, and ongoing configuration and management.
Most "off the shelf" software applications require significant planning, configuration and modification to meet your business requirements. They are often proprietary in terms of the technology used and unable to integrate with other key systems without incurring high integration costs.
